Chinese Students from Youjiang Medical University Visit Srinagarind Hospital

 

On October 1, 2024, 20 students from Youjiang Medical University for Nationalities in the People’s Republic of China visited Srinagarind Hospital, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University. This visit was part of a cultural and academic exchange program running from September 26 to October 9, 2024, aimed at providing students with insights into Thai healthcare practices while fostering cultural understanding.

 

 

 

 

During their study tour, the students participated in various activities, including:

  • Observing primary care services and learning about general patient treatment and management of complex medical conditions.
  • Attending a lecture by Assistant Professor Arkhom Bunloet from the Department of Community, Family, and Occupational Medicine, where they gained valuable insights into public health practices.
  • Visiting the Monk Ward, a specialized unit dedicated to the care of monks.
  • Exploring the Her Royal Highness the Princess Mother Museum, where they learned about the significant contributions of the Princess Mother to healthcare and society.

This exchange program allowed the students to deepen their understanding of healthcare and cultural practices in Thailand, enriching their educational experience and fostering collaboration between the two nations.
